 There were 4 air raids yesterday. The Russians launched missiles at Kyiv (Zhulyani) and the airfield in Starokonstantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.

          The German newspaper "Bild" writes that the Russians are going to continue the war until 2026, because they count on a decrease in support for Ukraine from the West. "Bild" writes that Putin plans to completely seize Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the end of 2024, and reach the Oskol River in Kharkiv region. By 2026, reach the Dnipro River, seize part of the Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions, including the cities of Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhia.

      Undoubtedly, this bridgehead forced the Russians to redeploy part of their troops from other areas of the front, for example, from well-protected positions in the Zaporizhzhia region.

          Correspondents of the BBC managed to talk to several Russian military personnel who claim that they have lost many people and cannot knock out our military from the bridgehead. This means that both the Russians and our military are under heavy fire.

 The Russians shot two Ukrainian soldiers which surrendered near Avdiivka.

During the assaults, the Russians use mostly infantry and hit the city with a large amount of artillery. Aerial bombs continue to be dropped. The Russians are putting pressure on Koksokhim plfnt, the industrial zone and the village of Stepove.

 Somewhere in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, the Russians celebrated the "Day of the Russian Missile Forces and Artillery". Gathered for an award ceremony at a local club. Ours hit there with HIMARS. 20 russians died and many wounded. Our military says that this is a response to a missile attack on the troops of the Transcarpathian Mining and Assault Brigade (November 4, 2023).  In an interview with The Economist, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi publicly announced that the summer offensive has ended and has turned into a positional, trench struggle.  A family of 9 people was shot dead in the occupied city of Volnovakha. Three women and two children were among the dead. The boy was 5 years old, and the girl was 9 years old. Russian soldiers came to the house and demanded that the family vacate the house for the military. The owner of the house refused to provide housing. At night, the Russians returned and shot the whole family.

 At night, the Russians shelled the Khmelnytskyi region with "Shakheds". 18 people were injured in the city of Slavuta. All are civilians. Two in intensive care. An industrial enterprise and about 300 high-rise buildings and houses of the temporary sector were damaged in the city. From the territory of the Gaza Strip in Israel, Islamists fired rockets into the territory of Israel, and Hamas militants suddenly attacked the south of Israel. It is reported that more than 2,000 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip (the Arabs report about 5,000 rokets). Militants also drove jeeps into Jewish settlements, shot passers-by, took hostages and military personnel. A tank was shoted and damaged with a drone and a Jewish tank battalion was captured.  The Russians shot up a shop-cafe in the village of Groza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, 50 people had been killed, among them a 6-year-old child. It is reported that the Russians hit the cafe with an Iskander missile.  At one of the roadblocks on the way out of Kharkiv, a skirmish broke out between a combined police unit and a group of armed men in military uniforms over a vehicle inspection.

       On September 29, 4 SUVs drove up to one of the checkpoints. Men in military uniform came out of them and threatened with firearms the entire assembled police unit, which included policemen, border guards, national guardsmen, and a representative of the military law enforcement service.            A couple of days ago, Ukrainian media reported that our paratroopers had established control over the Boyka sea "towers". The Russians captured these towers at the beginning of the war. Special locators were installed on them, which could monitor targets flying at low altitude above the sea, and also, the Russians stored missiles there. Ukraine "established control" over the towers, which means that the Russians will no longer be able to install any equipment there. But ours won't be able too,  because the towers are easily fired at from both sides.

 The head of military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the drone attack on the airfield in Pskov was carried out from the territory of Russia.

 At night, Ukrainian drones attacked the airfield in Pskov, Russia. Four Il-76 transport planes were burned, and several were damaged. How it was done is unknown. The distance from the border of Ukraine to Pskov is 700 km. The drones were supposed to fly through Belarus or on the territory of Russia. In this case, the distance will be more long.

 Yesterday evening, near the city of Tver in Russia, the business jet of Yevhen Prigozhin, the founder of the private military company "Wagner", crashed. There were 7 passengers and 3 crew members on board the plane.            In Lutsk, rockets hit a Swedish factory that produced bearings. Three people died and several were injured.

 The Russians hit an oil depot by "Shahed" drones. The attack was at night, at about 3 am. A pillar of smoke was visible this morning. At first, I thought that the hit was on the outskirts of Dubno, in the Czech Straklov, but people say that it was the oil depot in the village of Buscha which was completely destroyed. Smoke from the fire could be seen even in Rivne.

The explosion killed two people who were driving a car to Crimea on vacation. Traffic on the bridge is blocked. Russians are directing transport through the occupied territories of the Donetsk region.

 In Krasnodar, the deputy head of the city's mobilization work department, captain of the second rank (lieutenant colonel) Stanislav Rzytsky was killed. He was killed with four shots in the back during a morning run. Rzytsky commanded submarines "Krasnodar" and "Alros". It is possible that Vinnytsia was fired with missiles from his submarine, where many people had been killed.

        ************** The Russian PMK Wagner entered Rostov and seized the headquarters of the Russian "Southern" military district. The news reports that they completely control the city of Rostov.  Russia launched 54 "Shakhed" over Ukraine. Mainly around Kyiv. Our anti-aircraft defense shot down 52 of them. They report a hit in Zhytomyr. 2 drones were shot down over the Rivne region.

 Yesterday, in the afternoon, social networks and Telegram channels reported on combat clashes on the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Belgorod region of Russia. The "Russian Volunteer Corps", whose soldiers are fighting on the side of Ukraine, announced that it was carrying out combat missions on the territory of Russia. Another "Legion of Freedom of Russia", consisting of citizens of Russia, called on residents of the Russian border regions to stay at home and "not to resist". They also recorded an appeal to Russians to fight for a Russia free from Putin.

 The night air alert continued for almost two hours. The Russians bombed  Dnipro cyty and the region. Air defense shot down 15 drones and 4 cruise missiles. It is reported that the Russians used 16 missiles of various types and 20 Shahed attack drones. The fire station was hit. 3 buildings and more than 20 vehicles were destroyed. This is already the 12th mass attack on Ukraine since the beginning of May. Previous strikes were mainly aimed at Kyiv.

 In the morning, there were reports that Russian troops had completely captured the city of Bakhmut.

 At night, the Russians bombed Kyiv and Odessa. Near Kyiv, all the missiles were shot down. 6 missiles were shot down near Odesa and fell into the Black Sea. But there is a hit at an industrial facility, one person had been killed, two wounded. Civilians were injured.

       ****CNN reports that as a result of a powerful night attack in Kyiv, one component of the Patriot air defense system may have been damaged. Ukraine currently has two Patriot systems. One was donated by the USA, the other by Germany and the Netherlands. It is not known which of these systems was damaged, but disabling one of them, even for a short time, could affect Ukraine's ability to defend Kyiv amid increased Russian missile attacks.

      ***** Two helicopters, or one helicopter and one SU-24 aircraft, were shot down or fell in the Bryansk region of Russia near the city of Klintsy. Russian bloggers write that the plane and helicopter could have been mistakenly shot down by Russian anti-aircraft guns. The city of Klintsi is 50 km from the Ukrainian border. Who knocked them down, or did they fall themselves? - it is still unknown.

 The Ukrainian Air Force shot down its own Bayraktar drone in Kyiv. Reports say that the drone lost control during a planned flight in the Kyiv region. The wreckage of the drone fell in the Solomyansky district of Kyiv.

 A video of small drones attacking the Kremlin in Moscow appeared in the news. There was a small explosion on the dome with the state flag of Russia. The Russians report that there were several drones.

       Russian television showed footage of a ransacked house in Uman, like a house in Donetsk ransacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

 The Security Service of Ukraine reported the suspicion to the military intelligence officer, Colonel Roman Chervynskyi. He is known for the fact that in 2019, he secretly took Volodymyr Tsemakh, who was the commander of the Air Defense Forces, from the territory of the DPR, and was involved in the downing of the Boeing MH-17. Also, in July 2020, there was an attempt by the Ukrainian security forces to detain 28 Wagner fighters. In the spring of 2022, Roman Chervynskyi's team decided to lure a Russian military pilot to Ukraine along with the plane. They began to write to Russian pilots and offer them a monetary reward for such actions. Some of the Russians agreed and according to the plan of the operation, the Russian pilot should fly at a low altitude to a certain place in Ukraine, and inform the Russian dispatchers that he was hit. Then the Russian would get money, new documents and hide in Europe. The Russian pilot was supposed to land the plane at the Kanatove airfield in the Kirovohrad region on July 23, 2022. The plan proved tragic. Instead of a plane, the Russians fired 9 missiles at the airfield. As a result of the attack, the commander of the military unit was killed and 17 Ukrainian soldiers were injured. Also, two combat aircraft of the Air Force of Ukraine were completely destroyed. The runway and other buildings suffered extensive damage. Russian special services revealed Roman Chervinskyi's plan and outwitted him. Vasyl Mamluk, head of the Security Service of Ukraine, points out that Chervynskyi did not receive the management's consent to conduct the operation.

 A Russian military jet lost an aerial bomb that fell in the center of the city of Belgorod (Russia). The explosion damaged several houses and cars. One car was thrown onto the roof of the store by the blast wave.

   **** The director of the Rivne anti-tuberculosis dispensary tried to sell the anti-tuberculosis sanatorium for a bribe of 1 million hryvnias, significantly underestimating its price and the value of the land plot.

 In Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels, a video of the beheading of a still-living prisoner began to spread. In the video, the killer's face is covered by a balaclava (ski mask). He has a white bandage on his leg, which is used by the Russians during the war for identification. The prisoner has a yellow armband on his sleeve, which is used by the Ukrainian military for identification. The killer supporters, behind the scenes, comment on the events in Russian: "We are working, brothers", "What, does you never cut off a head?". The camera also shows a body armor with chevrons of the Ukrainian military.

 At the beginning of the war, almost all commentators claimed that Russia would not be able to win because the potential of Western countries is much greater than that of Russia. Therefore, Ukraine will definitely receive all the necessary supplies for victory. Now it turns out that there is a "shell's hunger". Both Russia and Ukraine lack shells, but Russia still has more shells.

       Everyone expects that there will be a Ukrainian counteroffensive at the front, but there is not enough weapons and ammunition for this.

       In Bakhmut and Avdiivka, our troops may be encircled.

 I tried to fill up the car at the Ukrnafta gas station. Their gasoline is a little cheaper than at OKKO, 46.5 UAH/l. I asked the gas station man if their gasoline is of good quality? He says yes, it is good. They are brought it from the Baltic countries.

 A Russian Su-27 aircraft collided with an American MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Black Sea. The impact caused the drone to fall into the water. The command of the US Air Force in Europe accused Russia of dangerous maneuvers around the drone that took place in international airspace. Before the collision, two Russian planes were dumping fuel and also flew in close proximity to the drone. The US military added that one of the Su-27s engaged the propeller of the MQ-9 while maneuvering. Due to this, the drone lost control and americans was forced to sink it.

 Mass missile attack on Ukraine by the Russians. More than 80 rockets were fired over Ukraine. The anxiety was almost the whole night. Rockets were apparently shot down in Lutsk and Rivne. Rockets hit private residential buildings near Zolochiv. 5 people died. Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine were shelled.

 In one state institution, in a line of people, a woman, probably from Polissia (northern districts of Rivne region), told about an incident she had in Sarny. Immigrants from the east of the country have rented an apartment. When the last day of rent and payment came, they disappeared and stopped communicating by phone. The owner of the apartment went to them, opened the door with his key and saw that all the gas valves were open, and on the table was a note: "We were burning and you will burning."

         I heard exactly such a fairy tale a little earlier in another place, in our town Dubno. Even all the details match. Apparently, someone is trying to arouse malice in people towards immigrants from the east of the country. Someone needs this discord and they spread such rumors.

    It is very bad.

 Air alarm in the morning. The whole week was without alarms, the last one was last Friday, February 3. 

        Electricity supplies began to be turned off a little less. No longer for 4 hours, but for one or two hours only. Sometimes they don't turn off at all.

         We talked with our former colleague S-k. She said that her son is in army now. Before the war, he worked as a neurologist in a local hospital. Now a military doctor. He completed a five-week course in military medicine conducted by American instructors. The course was very useful. He told her that in 5 weeks of the course, he learned more about military medicine than in 5 years at university. 

      There are many wounded on front. Sometimes he has a chance falls asleep 2-3 hours a day only. There are also many dead at the war. He said that a company of 80 men was sent to the front line. Back, only 16 returned alive. The soldiers were seriously wounded. Once they brought 4 wounded soldiers completely skinless. It is unknown what happened to them and why they received such injuries.

         It was already the second, long air alarm of the day. They are bombing, mainly energy facilities. Today, one of the Russian missiles was launched from the Black Sea and flew through Moldova to Romania. Moldovans summoned the Russian ambassador for an explanation. Romanians, members of NATO, are silent for now.

 Vlad called yesterday evening. He said that his nephew is in the army now and he was sent to Bakhmut. Today, it is the fiercest district on the front. The Russians have brought convicts there from prison, like the private military company "Wagner" and they have advancing as like as fools without counting the losses. Vlad's nephew says that local people support the Russians more than the Ukrainian army.

 A very long air alert that lasted almost 4 hours. The news reports that Russia fired 55 missiles over Ukraine. Anti-aircraft defense shot down 47 missiles. They shot from planes and ships in the Black Sea

 A rescue helicopter carrying the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs crashed in Brovary. The helicopter fell on the kindergarten building. The police reported 14 dead, including a child. There were 3 pilots and 6 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on board the helicopter. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, and two of his deputies were killed. They intended to fly to the Kharkiv region. The news reported that 30 people were taken to hospitals, including 12 children.

 Last Saturday, January 14, the Russians launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Most of the dead were in the city of Dnipro, where a rocket hit a residential, panel high-rise building. To date, 35 dead people, including two children, have been removed from the ruins of the building. 39 people were saved, 75 were injured. Among the wounded are 14 children. The fate of another 35 residents of building is unknown. Perhaps they will add to the lists of the dead.

      PS: After stopping the search for the dead and removing the debris, 45 people are considered dead, including 6 children. The fate of 20 people is unknown. It is assumed that their bodies were burned to the ground as a result of the fire.
