It is reported in the news that there were two air alarms at night because the most massive attack by "Shakhed" on Kyiv was carried out. Our anti-aircraft defense shot down 89 Shaheds and one missile.

Okhmadyt children's hospitall

 

At least 20 people have been killed after Russia launched a massive missile attack against cities across Ukraine, according to officials.

In the capital, Kyiv, at least seven people were killed in a rare daytime attack. The city's mayor said a children's hospital was hit by the missile strike and was being evacuated.

The head of the military administration in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih said at least 10 people had been killed there, with three killed in the eastern town of Pokrovsk.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is visiting Poland, said that Russia had fired some 40 missiles at targets across the country.

Mr Zelensky, who is due to travel to the US for this week's Nato summit in Washington, said Russia had "massively attacked" Ukraine.

"Different cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of various types. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged," he said.

Plumes of smoke could be seen across the capital Kyiv, while video posted on social media showed the destruction inside and outside of the Okhmadyt children's hospital. It is not clear if anyone inside was injured.

But Mr Zelensky said in a social media post that people were trapped under the rubble of the hospital. He added that the number of people injured at Okhmadyt hospital was unclear.

Vitaliy Klitschko, Kyiv's mayor, told the Reuters news agency the bombardment was the worst attack on the capital since the start of the war.

Elsewhere, Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the military administration in Kryvy Rih, posted on the Telegram messaging app that at least 10 people were killed and 31 wounded following the attack on the city. Of those, he said 10 were seriously injured.

Kryvy Rih is Mr Zelensky's home town and has been repeatedly attacked by Russia since it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The Russian bombardment comes as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow for a two-day state visit to Russia where he is due to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.

 The Biden administration has announced that air defense missiles produced in the coming months, primarily Patriot and NASAMS, will be sent to Ukraine as a priority. Deliveries to countries other than Taiwan and Israel will be delayed until a later time, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said. He did not specify how long Ukraine will enjoy this priority, but American media sources say 16 months.

Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with Russian journalists, said that the participation of North Korean combatants (Russian agencies called these hypothetical soldiers “volunteers”) in the war in Ukraine was not discussed during his visit to Pyongyang, he himself did not ask for it and the DPRK leadership did not propose it.

Putin also said that the preconditions for the start of ceasefire negotiations with Ukraine, which he called June 14, could change depending on the situation on the ground.

Representatives of the South Korean president said on Thursday that in response to the Russian-North Korean “mutual defense” agreement signed the day before, Seoul could begin direct arms supplies to Ukraine. A severed human head

 During aerial reconnaissance at one of the combat positions in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military discovered a damaged armored vehicle of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin posted a photo that confirms a crime that was gruesome even for the conditions of war: a severed human head was lying on the hood of a military vehicle.

"We received information that the Russian commanders gave an order not to capture Ukrainian servicemen, but instead to kill them with inhuman cruelty - by beheading. The fact of the beheading of a Ukrainian defender was recorded in Donetsk region," prosecutor A.Kostin wrote.

Poltava

Twenty-two people, including three children, were injured in a Russian missile attack on the city of Poltava on 17 June.

Putin's ultimatum

 Putin, somewhere at the meeting, expressed the conditions for the end of the war in Ukraine., - to give him four oblasts, completely, within the administrative borders (Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson), as well as Ukraine's refusal to join NATO.

 Ukraine is really already tired of the war. Many young people have been killed at the wart or became disabled. Many women with children, as well as men who were could did it, left the country to escape the war. Those of them who were able to adapt to life abroad will not return to Ukraine.

 Putin's proposal is unacceptable, in fact it is an ultimatum. Moreover, Putin is a well known liar and should not be trusted.
