 An explosion rang out in Kharkiv during an air raid. The Russian occupiers struck the Kharkiv region. Previously, there were no casualties.

On the evening of January 29, the Russians launched another massive air attack - several groups of "shaheed" entered the territory of Ukraine from the south and east. As a result, one of the drones hit a civil infrastructure object in the Dnipropetrovsk region

         At 20:29, the military announced the threat of using attack drones in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. At 21:10 it became known that they were flying in the direction of Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Then - to Cherkasy.
           Around 10:00 p.m., the military said that "the second group of attack drones is moving through the territory of the Mykolayiv region in the north-western direction. A threat to Odesa."
         At around 11:00 p.m., "shahedy" were found in Kharkiv region (in the direction of Chuguyev) and Poltava region (on the way to Myrhorod).
         At 11:11 p.m., a new group of enemy drones was reported "in the south of Mykolaiv region and in the north of Kherson region! The direction of movement is north." A little later they were discovered "in the suburbs of Kryvyi Rih".
   ****After midnight, the air defence of the Armed Forces updated information on the large-scale air attack on Ukraine:
-- The "Shakhediv" group in the north of Mykolaiv Oblast is moving to Kirovohrad Oblast.
-- Several groups of enemy attack drones in Cherkasy region are moving in the direction of Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions.
-- A group of strike drones in the Poltava region - heading northeast.
-- A group of "shaheeds" in Vinnytsia region - moving to the northeast.
-- A group of "shaheeds" in Sumy Oblast is moving north.
-- At 00:36, the Kyiv OVA reported the movement of enemy UAVs: "Air defense forces are operating in the region." Around 01:00, it became known that a group of "shaheeds" in Cherkasy region is moving in the direction of Kyiv region.
At 01:47 a.m., the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the repulse of the threat of attack drones.

In Russia, an engineer of the "Kupol" defense plant shot himself after a Russian missile hit Kharkiv. The man worked at an enterprise that is part of the Azmaz-Antey concern. His body was found by a friend, who was concerned about the absence of a man at work.

       In the chest pocket of the deceased was a suicide note with the following text:
"I am, Anton Igorevich Gorobets, worked as an engineer at the Main System Design Bureau, the Almaz-Antey Air Defense Concern named after Academician A.A. Raspletin." A few days ago, a rocket to which I had a hand flew to Kharkov to the building where my grandmother lived, mother's line, she died. I couldn't live with this. What's happening now is horror and a nightmare. I refuse to take part in it anymore, but you can't bring my grandmother back. Please forgive me, but I can't do this anymore."

 More than 1,736 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of January 27, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 521 children died and more than 1,215 were injured of varying degrees of severity,” the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said in a statement.

The most children suffered in the following regions, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine clarifies: Donetsk - 505, Kharkov - 326, Kherson - 146, Kiev - 130, Dnepropetrovsk - 111, Nikolaev - 101, Zaporozhye - 100, Chernigov - 72, Lugansk - 67.

On January 26, as a result of Russian shelling of the city of Mirnograd, Donetsk region, two girls, 8 and 16 years old, were injured, reports the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The data on dead and injured children is not final, the department adds, work continues to identify them in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Around 8 pm in Kremenchuk, there was a double rocket attack by ballistic missiles on an industrial facility. There is no information about the dead and injured yet.

 A Russian IL-76 military transport plane fell and crashed near Belgorod. The Russians report that there were 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war on board who were flying for exchange.

In the morning, the Russians launched a powerful missile attack on Ukraine. Of the 41 missiles launched, 21 were shot down. The Russians launched 4 rockets from the Belgorod region into Kharkiv. 15 cruise missiles were launched from 6 TU-95 strategic bombers from the Engels region (Russia), 8 missiles from TU-22 bombers from the Bryansk and Oryol regions. 12 Iskander ballistic missiles from the Belgorod and Voronezh regions. 2 aviation guided missiles from aircraft, from the Belgorod Region.

       6 people had been killed, - 4 in Kharkiv, 1 in Kyiv, 1 in Dnipro, more than fifty people were injured.

        In Kyiv, a rocket hit an apartment in a 5-story building and did not explode. People are being evacuated from this and neighboring houses.

 On Sunday, 27 people died and at least 25 were injured as a result of explosions at the Donetsk market "Mercury". Two children were among the dead. Two children were also injured. The Russians accused the Ukrainian military of shelling the market. The most devastating were the explosions at the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, from where natural gas is transported. Local residents reported on social networks that they heard the sounds of drones flying over. The local press reported that two drones were headed to St. Petersburg, but then changed course and went to the port. 

     On January 18, there were already explosions at an oil depot in the Leningrad region. And then Ukraine admitted that it was an attack on its drones. The distance from Ukraine to St. Petersburg is 1,250 km.

 A message appeared in a Russian Telegram channel that Ukrainians were dropping postcards on Russian positions with the image of a naked woman and the inscription: "Russian soldier. Go home. Your love is waiting for you."

The message quickly spread and became viral. Russian soldiers commented on the report that the photo depicted some Ukrainian prostitute.

But now a scandal has arisen. It turned out that the message is the fake and was spread by Russian hackers. The photo shows the wife of the Russian general, commander of the airborne division Mikhail Teplinsky, who is fighting in Ukraine, in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian hackers reported that they stole a photo of a general's wife from her chat with the general's brother.

       In war, not only bullets and rockets are fired.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhnyi, said that the Ukrainian Air Force shot down both planes. The Russian authorities did not comment on these reports, but Russian military correspondents write that the A-50 was shot down by so-called "friendly fire", that is, by their own, and the second Il-22 aircraft flew to Anapa.
