*** Red forest, this is not a joke to you. The first death of a Russian soldier from radiation sickness was recorded. Many soldiers have been hospitalized at the Gomel Radiation Center in Belarus for forced recovery. Experts claim that a person receives an annual dose of radiation during a day's stay in the Red Forest. Russian soldiers dug trenches there and lived there without radiation protection for a month. Most of them will probably die from radiation sickness.

             When I was a liquidator at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, I saw that Red Forest. Pine trees, on which the needles have turned red from radiation, and the trunks of the trees became black. Our Ukrainian regiment carried out work on cleaning the city of Pripyat.
